Welcome to the Parent/Carer Information section of our website. Here you will be able to find useful information about Highlees Primary School.
We welcome parents and carers into Highlees Primary School believing we are partners in the education of your children. There are many opportunities for parents to become involved in the life of the school and to gain a greater understanding of its work. Parents’ support and expertise can be used in many ways and is greatly valued. Police checks and Disclosure and Barring (DBS) checks are carried out on all adults working in school. If you think you would be able to help, please talk to your child’s Teacher.
If you have any problems concerning your child, please make an appointment to see your child's Class Teacher in the first instance. If you are still unhappy about the situation please make an appointment to see the Vice Principal.
If you are experiencing problems with your child's behaviour at home, you can make an appointment to see the Vice Principal or ask to speak to our Learning Mentor. Appointments to see the Learning Mentor can be made at the school office.
