Behaviour for learning
At Highlees, we believe in supporting children to develop skills which will help them become valued and integral members of not only our school community, but also the wider local community.
We have identified five skills which we promote and celebrate on a daily basis. These are: Courage, Care, Consideration, Co-operation and Courtesy.
These "5 C's" underpin all we do at Highless, and children will be consistently rewarded and celebrated for demonstrating these in class and around school.
Each week we will have a focus "C of the week" which will be introduced on a Monday, in Assembly, and celebrated on a Friday in Sharing Assembly, where children will be recognised and receive certificates for demonstrating the "C of the week".
